Young lips are smooth and highly elastic because they contain high concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid, which helps skin stay healthy. As we grow older, the body loses its ability to maintain this same concentration in the skin. The ability of the skin to retain water also declines with age. As a result, the skin becomes dry and loses its ability to restore itself. Without water, the spaces in the skin appear which leads to wrinkling and the older skin appearance. Hyaluronic Acid acts as a space filler by binding to water and thus restoring normal skin health.

This stuff is the best! I started out using the balm in the tub, which is great, but I love the tube because it’s more sanitary and easy to use! So glad to have that option now. This balm makes my lips so smooth and hydrated and I love that there’s no scent or flavor. I now use the formula in the tub on my hands to keep them moisturized and protected and it works great! Better than most hand lotions! An all-around fabulous product I’ll continue to use! I’ve even turned some friends and family onto it!
