During her 32-year career with in the animal health industry, Dr. Karen K. Brown developed over 44 new products and obtained numerous patents. She was responsible for product research & process development for the first hyaluronic acid product manufactured via bacterial fermentation and holds the original patents. She has worked for 28 years in the area of hyaluronic acid. Dr. Brown received her BS from Washburn University, Topeka, KS in Chemistry and Biology, and her Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University in Biochemistry and Microbiology. She is a member of Sigma Xi and Phi Kappa Phi.
